When you push code to GitHub, Makrly reads your commit messages and code changes. Our AI analyzes what you built, filters out mundane commits, and generates engaging social media posts tailored for each platform.

Is my code safe? What permissions do you need?

Yes, your code is safe. We only request read-only access to your repositories. We can't modify your code, create branches, or make any changes. We only read commit messages and diffs to understand what you're building.

Can I use my own AI API key?

Yes! You can bring your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or other providers through OpenRouter. This gives you full control over which AI model generates your posts.

Which platforms are supported?

Currently, Makrly generates posts optimized for X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Facebook. Each platform gets a different version tailored to its audience and format.

You can now hide side tabs for a cleaner look while enjoying improved tab text orientation and clearer, more intuitive controls that adapt based on your choices.

This update introduces a new option to hide the side tab, giving you more control over your interface and allowing for a cleaner, less cluttered workspace when you prefer to rely on inline triggers only.

Improved readability and orientation
We've fixed the vertical tab text direction so it now faces outward on both sides, making it easier to read from any angle and improving the overall visual flow.

Smarter tab settings and helpful hints
When the tab is hidden, related tab settings are disabled to prevent confusion, and the inline trigger section is highlighted as required to guide you through setup. The preview now displays a helpful hint button when the tab is hidden, so you’ll always know how to interact with your workspace even when the tab itself isn’t visible.
