How does Makrly generate posts from my commits?

When you push code to GitHub, Makrly reads your commit messages and code changes. Our AI analyzes what you built, filters out mundane commits, and generates engaging social media posts tailored for each platform.

Is my code safe? What permissions do you need?

Yes, your code is safe. We only request read-only access to your repositories. We can't modify your code, create branches, or make any changes. We only read commit messages and diffs to understand what you're building.

Can I use my own AI API key?

Yes! You can bring your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or other providers through OpenRouter. This gives you full control over which AI model generates your posts.

Which platforms are supported?

Currently, Makrly generates posts optimized for X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Facebook. Each platform gets a different version tailored to its audience and format.

Slide-in panels now look and behave just like widget popups, with cleaner styling and simpler triggers you can use right inside your navigation or buttons.

This update brings a polished refresh to our slide-in panels, making them seamlessly match the style and feel of the widget popups you already know and love. By harmonizing the styles and class names, the panels now deliver a consistent and polished experience across different parts of the interface.

Simpler, cleaner design
The side tab has been redesigned with a more intuitive layout: the icon sits neatly on top with a vertical label centered below it. We also removed some unnecessary settings to keep things straightforward and easy to use.

More flexible triggers and improved accessibility
You can now trigger slide-in panels or widgets directly from navigation links and buttons throughout the site, thanks to new inline trigger support. We also improved how tab labels display and enhanced the close button’s focus behavior to make sure everything is accessible and user-friendly. These changes make interacting with the panels feel natural and smooth wherever you are.
