Is my code safe? What permissions do you need?

Yes, your code is safe. We only request read-only access to your repositories. We can't modify your code, create branches, or make any changes. We only read commit messages and diffs to understand what you're building.

Can I use my own AI API key?

Yes! You can bring your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or other providers through OpenRouter. This gives you full control over which AI model generates your posts.

Which platforms are supported?

Currently, Makrly generates posts optimized for X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Facebook. Each platform gets a different version tailored to its audience and format.

You can now create memorable changelog URLs with custom slugs, control the widget’s pulse animation, and enjoy icons that adapt their color automatically for better visibility.

This update makes your changelog experience more personal, polished, and visually clear. You can give your changelog pages a simple, memorable web address by choosing a custom URL slug that fits your brand or app name. These slugs are validated to be easy to read and avoid conflicts, so sharing updates feels cleaner and more professional.

More control and smarter visuals
We added a toggle for the widget’s pulse animation, so you can decide if you want that subtle attention grabber or prefer a calmer look. The widget icon now changes its color intelligently based on the background brightness, making sure it’s always easy to see no matter your theme. Along with this, dark mode gets a polish with timeline bullets now clearly visible, keeping your update history looking sharp and accessible.
