Automatically generate changelog entries from your commits and PRs
Changelogs now update themselves by pulling key info from your GitHub commits and merged pull requests, saving you time and keeping your updates accurate.
Thanks to the new auto-mode feature, your changelog will build itself automatically from important commits and merged pull requests. This means you can spend less time manually writing entries and more time focusing on building great software.
Smarter changelog automation
By connecting directly to GitHub, Makrly can now fetch your merged pull requests and track key commit details, creating changelog entries that include references back to the original source. Each entry also categorizes itself based on conventional commit messages, which helps keep your changelog organized and easy to read.
Control and customize with ease
You’ll find new options in the widget settings to enable or adjust this auto-mode behavior, including managing a queue of pending entries that you can review and approve in batches right from the changelog page. Plus, each autogenerated entry clearly indicates where it came from, whether that’s a commit SHA or a pull request number, so you always know the origin of your updates.
Overall, this update takes the hassle out of changelog maintenance and ensures your release notes stay precise and up-to-date with minimal effort.
