How does Makrly generate posts from my commits?

When you push code to GitHub, Makrly reads your commit messages and code changes. Our AI analyzes what you built, filters out mundane commits, and generates engaging social media posts tailored for each platform.

Is my code safe? What permissions do you need?

Yes, your code is safe. We only request read-only access to your repositories. We can't modify your code, create branches, or make any changes. We only read commit messages and diffs to understand what you're building.

Can I use my own AI API key?

Yes! You can bring your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or other providers through OpenRouter. This gives you full control over which AI model generates your posts.

Which platforms are supported?

Currently, Makrly generates posts optimized for X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Facebook. Each platform gets a different version tailored to its audience and format.

The Help tab now feels more polished with a stable layout that keeps the footer and tabs in place while you scroll, plus faster, more intuitive search with a handy clear button.

We've made the Help tab a lot easier and more pleasant to use by fixing its layout so the tabs and footer stay anchored at the bottom while the content scrolls smoothly in the middle. This means you can browse the help content without losing sight of navigation or controls.

Improved search experience
The search bar no longer loses focus with each keystroke, so typing feels seamless and uninterrupted. We also added a clear button with a familiar “X” icon, making it quick to reset your search and start fresh without extra clicks.

Visual polish and stability
We refreshed the footer logo to use the distinctive ‘M’ mark for a cleaner look and ensured that the header, tabs, and footer maintain their size properly without shrinking awkwardly. Altogether, these tweaks deliver a smoother, more stable interface for when you need help or want to find answers quickly.
