How does Makrly generate posts from my commits?

When you push code to GitHub, Makrly reads your commit messages and code changes. Our AI analyzes what you built, filters out mundane commits, and generates engaging social media posts tailored for each platform.

Is my code safe? What permissions do you need?

Yes, your code is safe. We only request read-only access to your repositories. We can't modify your code, create branches, or make any changes. We only read commit messages and diffs to understand what you're building.

Can I use my own AI API key?

Yes! You can bring your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or other providers through OpenRouter. This gives you full control over which AI model generates your posts.

Which platforms are supported?

Currently, Makrly generates posts optimized for X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Facebook. Each platform gets a different version tailored to its audience and format.

Faster material search with autocomplete and image previews

Searching the Materials Library is now quicker and more visual with autocomplete suggestions that include image thumbnails. You can add materials to the canvas or filter by tags right from the dropdown.

Finding the perfect material just got a lot easier and more intuitive. As you type two or more characters in the Materials Library search, an autocomplete dropdown appears, showing suggestions instantly to help you zero in on what you need.

More visual and interactive search
Each suggestion now includes a small image preview, giving you a quick glimpse to confirm your choice before clicking. You can directly add a material to your canvas with one click, or click on tags and categories in the suggestions to filter results, making it seamless to discover related items.

Convenient controls at your fingertips
We've added a clear button to reset your search quickly and the ability to dismiss the autocomplete dropdown by hitting the escape key. Plus, search results smartly prioritize exact matches and materials first, so you find the right thing faster without digging through less relevant tags.
