Is my code safe? What permissions do you need?

Yes, your code is safe. We only request read-only access to your repositories. We can't modify your code, create branches, or make any changes. We only read commit messages and diffs to understand what you're building.

Can I use my own AI API key?

Yes! You can bring your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or other providers through OpenRouter. This gives you full control over which AI model generates your posts.

Which platforms are supported?

Currently, Makrly generates posts optimized for X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Facebook. Each platform gets a different version tailored to its audience and format.

On mobile and tablets, hitting the new “Text” button opens your native SMS app with the message already filled in and ready to send. If you have the client's phone number on file, it even pre-populates the recipient to save you time.

For desktop users, instead of jumping through hoops, a QR code will pop up that you can scan with your phone. This smart little shortcut lets you effortlessly transfer the SMS proposal to your mobile device, bridging the gap between your desktop and phone.

We've integrated this feature using a lightweight and open-source QR code tool so it feels snappy and reliable. Now your proposal sending workflow is smoother and more flexible, no matter where you’re working.
