Yes, your code is safe. We only request read-only access to your repositories. We read commit messages and file names, never your source code. We can't modify your repo or push changes. Revoke access from GitHub settings anytime.

You can preserve your settings preferences even if there is a conflict when trying to save changes. The system alerts you with the message 'Settings changed since you opened this page' and allows you to review the most recent values while keeping your edits intact. This way, you can avoid losing changes without the need to start from scratch.
