When you push code to GitHub, Makrly reads your commit messages and code changes. Our AI analyzes what you built, filters out mundane commits, and generates engaging social media posts tailored for each platform.

Is my code safe? What permissions do you need?

Yes, your code is safe. We only request read-only access to your repositories. We can't modify your code, create branches, or make any changes. We only read commit messages and diffs to understand what you're building.

Can I use my own AI API key?

Yes! You can bring your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or other providers through OpenRouter. This gives you full control over which AI model generates your posts.

Which platforms are supported?

Currently, Makrly generates posts optimized for X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Facebook. Each platform gets a different version tailored to its audience and format.

Safe demo proposals prevent accidental changes or signing

Demo proposals are now protected from editing and signing, so you can explore features confidently without risking changes to demo data.

We've added a special safeguard for demo proposals to make your exploration experience worry-free. When you create a demo project, it now includes a demo proposal that can't be accidentally modified or signed.

Protecting demo proposals
To keep demo data intact, any attempt to sign or modify these demo proposals is blocked with a friendly message. This lets you explore and test proposals freely, without the risk of submitting or changing demo content.

Smooth setup and backfill
New demo projects automatically get these protected proposals, and we've also created a backfill process to add this protection to existing demos. Plus, we track client information for demo projects to keep proposal data organized behind the scenes.
