Measure complex shapes with multi-point polylines
You can now create measurements with multiple points to accurately capture the size of irregular spaces like roofs or property boundaries. This makes measuring more flexible and precise than before.
We've expanded the measurement tool to let you create multi-point polylines, making it easy to measure complex shapes like roofs, property lines, or any irregular area. Instead of being limited to two points, you can click multiple times to add points along the shape, and then double-click or press Enter to finish. This means you get much more accurate measurements that match the contours of your space.
Clear measurements and intuitive controls
Each segment between points is labeled with its length right in the middle, so you can see distances at a glance. The total length is displayed prominently at the center of your shape, helping you understand the overall measurement quickly. To make it easier on touch devices like tablets, floating check and cancel buttons appear so you can finish or cancel your measurement without any hassle. You can also close the shape by clicking near the first point, letting you measure enclosed spaces with ease.
Seamless recalibration and AI integration
All segments within your multi-point measurement support recalibration individually, so adjustments stay precise no matter how detailed your polyline is. The notes panel that uses AI now receives a simplified version of these segments, ensuring your annotations and insights stay accurate and helpful. Plus, these new features work alongside existing two-point measurements, so your previous workflows remain intact and familiar.
This update makes measuring irregular shapes much more natural and powerful, helping you get exactly the data you need without extra guesswork.
