Invoices are now created automatically when proposals are signed
Once a proposal is signed, draft invoices are generated automatically based on the payment schedule, making your billing process smoother and more efficient.
This update streamlines your billing workflow by automatically creating invoices as soon as a proposal is signed. Instead of manually generating invoices, the system now drafts them based on the payment schedule defined in the proposal, helping you stay on top of payments effortlessly.
Simplified billing with smarter invoice creation
The first invoice is assigned a due date calculated from the signing day, so you know exactly when payment is expected. Following invoices are flagged for review without due dates, giving you the chance to double-check details before sending them out.
Better tracking and client management
If your proposal isn’t already linked to a client, the system creates one automatically using the proposal’s information, keeping your records tidy without extra work. Team owners also get notified about how many invoices were generated, so everyone stays in the loop.
You can toggle this feature on or off in your team settings, but we’ve found it helps keep the billing process smooth and reduces manual effort, so it’s enabled by default. Overall, this change helps you focus more on your work and less on administrative tasks.
