When you push code to GitHub, Makrly reads your commit messages and code changes. Our AI analyzes what you built, filters out mundane commits, and generates engaging social media posts tailored for each platform.

Is my code safe? What permissions do you need?

Yes, your code is safe. We only request read-only access to your repositories. We can't modify your code, create branches, or make any changes. We only read commit messages and diffs to understand what you're building.

Can I use my own AI API key?

Yes! You can bring your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or other providers through OpenRouter. This gives you full control over which AI model generates your posts.

Which platforms are supported?

Currently, Makrly generates posts optimized for X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Facebook. Each platform gets a different version tailored to its audience and format.

This update introduces a live preview feature that lets you see your widgets with real dashboard styling as you configure them. By displaying the preview inside a secure embedded frame, it ensures what you see closely matches the live experience, giving you confidence before making changes.

Enhanced security and safer development
We’ve added nonce verification for cache clearing, meaning only trusted users can clear cached data, reducing risks of unwanted disruptions. There’s also a new environment check to safely bypass SSL requirements when working in development mode, so your workflow remains smooth without compromising site security.

Additionally, dynamic content within the admin interfaces is now better escaped, helping prevent potential security issues caused by special characters or code injections. The page exclusion feature introduced previously continues to allow you more control over where certain widgets appear, keeping your site setup flexible and secure.
