How does Makrly generate posts from my commits?

When you push code to GitHub, Makrly reads your commit messages and code changes. Our AI analyzes what you built, filters out mundane commits, and generates engaging social media posts tailored for each platform.

Is my code safe? What permissions do you need?

Yes, your code is safe. We only request read-only access to your repositories. We can't modify your code, create branches, or make any changes. We only read commit messages and diffs to understand what you're building.

Can I use my own AI API key?

Yes! You can bring your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or other providers through OpenRouter. This gives you full control over which AI model generates your posts.

Which platforms are supported?

Currently, Makrly generates posts optimized for X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Facebook. Each platform gets a different version tailored to its audience and format.

The dashboard now has a more consistent and streamlined header design, plus a new search bar and sorting options on the websites page to help you find and organize your sites faster.

This update makes your dashboard look sharper and easier to navigate by unifying the headers across key pages like audit, websites, team, and new website creation. By moving page titles and descriptions into a common layout header, we’ve removed duplicate headers that used to crowd the top of these pages.

We’ve added a search bar on the websites page that lets you quickly filter your list by name or URL, so you can jump straight to the site you’re looking for. On top of that, a new sort dropdown lets you reorder your sites by name, date added, score, or status — making it simple to get the view that fits how you work.

Consistent styling throughout
To keep everything feeling cohesive, the back button on pages now uses the same secondary button style seen elsewhere in the dashboard. Overall, this brings a cleaner, more polished experience that helps you spend less time clicking around and more time managing your sites.
