When you push code to GitHub, Makrly reads your commit messages and code changes. Our AI analyzes what you built, filters out mundane commits, and generates engaging social media posts tailored for each platform.

Is my code safe? What permissions do you need?

Yes, your code is safe. We only request read-only access to your repositories. We can't modify your code, create branches, or make any changes. We only read commit messages and diffs to understand what you're building.

Can I use my own AI API key?

Yes! You can bring your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or other providers through OpenRouter. This gives you full control over which AI model generates your posts.

Which platforms are supported?

Currently, Makrly generates posts optimized for X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Facebook. Each platform gets a different version tailored to its audience and format.

Your files are now stored and cleaned up automatically based on your plan

Files you upload are tracked and removed automatically after a set time, depending on your subscription. Plus, we keep your data more private by hiding IP details.

We've added smarter tracking for all the files you upload, so nothing gets lost or stuck accidentally. Depending on your plan, files will now be kept for a set number of days—like 60 days for free users, up to five years for business plans—and then removed automatically to keep things tidy.

Also, any leftover or unused files are cleaned up regularly, so you don't have to worry about clutter or using unnecessary space. On top of that, we've made sure your privacy is protected by anonymizing IP addresses during this process.

All these updates happen quietly in the background, making your experience smoother and giving you peace of mind about your data storage and privacy.
