How does Makrly generate posts from my commits?

When you push code to GitHub, Makrly reads your commit messages and code changes. Our AI analyzes what you built, filters out mundane commits, and generates engaging social media posts tailored for each platform.

Is my code safe? What permissions do you need?

Yes, your code is safe. We only request read-only access to your repositories. We can't modify your code, create branches, or make any changes. We only read commit messages and diffs to understand what you're building.

Can I use my own AI API key?

Yes! You can bring your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or other providers through OpenRouter. This gives you full control over which AI model generates your posts.

Which platforms are supported?

Currently, Makrly generates posts optimized for X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Facebook. Each platform gets a different version tailored to its audience and format.

Stay in the loop when your Square connection needs attention

You’ll now get clear alerts if your Square connection is about to expire or has expired, with easy updates from the dashboard and reminders by email. Plus, the app can refresh your connection automatically to keep things running smoothly.

Sometimes your connection to Square can expire, which might interrupt your workflow. Now, instead of showing confusing status messages, the app clearly tells you if your connection is active or expired.

You’ll see alerts right on your dashboard under "Needs Attention" when your connection is about to expire or has already expired. You can also choose to get these alerts through email to make sure you don’t miss anything important.

To save you even more hassle, the app tries to refresh your Square connection automatically every day. If it can’t refresh, your workspace admins will get notified so they can fix it quickly and keep everything running without interruptions.
