Chat limits now count entire conversations, not individual messages
We changed how your chat usage is counted so it’s based on conversations started rather than each message sent. This makes limits clearer and fairer, with a friendly message if you hit your limit.
Instead of counting every message you send, we now track how many conversations you start. This means you can send unlimited messages within a single conversation without worrying about hitting message limits quickly.
We also added some helpful changes: if you try to start a new conversation but have hit your limit, you’ll see a clear, friendly message letting you know the chat is temporarily unavailable. Plus, if you quickly tap to start chats by mistake, we make sure it doesn’t count multiple times.
This new way of counting resets monthly and includes a 24-hour window to continue conversations without adding to your count. All together, these updates give you a smoother and more understandable chat experience.
