When you push code to GitHub, Makrly reads your commit messages and code changes. Our AI analyzes what you built, filters out mundane commits, and generates engaging social media posts tailored for each platform.

Is my code safe? What permissions do you need?

Yes, your code is safe. We only request read-only access to your repositories. We can't modify your code, create branches, or make any changes. We only read commit messages and diffs to understand what you're building.

Can I use my own AI API key?

Yes! You can bring your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or other providers through OpenRouter. This gives you full control over which AI model generates your posts.

Which platforms are supported?

Currently, Makrly generates posts optimized for X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Facebook. Each platform gets a different version tailored to its audience and format.

We've made it easier to track your progress through multi-level features with new active-dot indicators and improved visual cues. Zooming your pages now feels more natural, and other fixes make the widget panel more responsive and tidy.

This update brings a clearer way to understand multi-level features by adding dot indicators that light up only when active, helping you see at a glance where you are in a sequence. The active states now have sharper contrast, turning black when selected and white when reset, so the status is unmistakable.

Improved zoom experience and panel tweaks
Page zooming has been refined to feel smoother and avoid compounding effects by adjusting the zoom approach. We've also tidied up the widget panel's positioning to naturally appear on the opposite side for better balance, and the cursor reacts instantly, making your interactions feel more responsive.

Additional polish includes making sure background images hide properly when you opt to hide them, simplifying available zoom levels for consistency, and fixing the reset button’s hover state to always respond correctly. Together, these improvements make navigating and using your tools more intuitive and visually clear.
