How to Connect Your GitHub Repository to Makrly
Makrly integrates with GitHub using OAuth and only requires read-only access to your commit messages. Follow these steps to get started:
Steps to Connect
- Sign in to Makrly using your GitHub account via the one-click OAuth flow.
- Authorize Makrly's access to your GitHub account; only commit messages are read.
- Select repositories you want Makrly to track.
- Revoke access anytime via your GitHub settings if needed.
Important Notes
- Makrly cannot see your source code or files.
- You control what repositories are connected.
- No write permissions are granted.
Once connected, Makrly will begin scanning commits to generate your social media posts.
