How to Connect Your GitHub Repository to Makrly

Makrly integrates with GitHub using OAuth and only requires read-only access to your commit messages. Follow these steps to get started:

Steps to Connect

  1. Sign in to Makrly using your GitHub account via the one-click OAuth flow.
  2. Authorize Makrly's access to your GitHub account; only commit messages are read.
  3. Select repositories you want Makrly to track.
  4. Revoke access anytime via your GitHub settings if needed.

Important Notes

  • Makrly cannot see your source code or files.
  • You control what repositories are connected.
  • No write permissions are granted.

Once connected, Makrly will begin scanning commits to generate your social media posts.
